A Wilmington moving company crewed by UNCW students
Jared Mazzola started Express Movers in October 2021. Everyone who shows up at your door is a student at UNC Wilmington.
Why it works
Moving is hard physical work with a start time and an end time. That suits students. We fit jobs around classes, we work weekends, and we would rather carry a couch than sit at a desk.
Jared trains every crew member himself. The crew has grown to more than 15 students, so we can staff small jobs and big ones on the same day.

Meet Jared
Jared Mazzola founded Express Movers in October 2021. At first he expected it to be side work to help pay for tuition at UNCW and living costs.
By the spring of 2022 the company's reputation had grown fast, and so had the crew, filled with hard-working UNCW students. Express Movers has been his career ever since, and he now manages a crew of more than 15 UNCW students.
